The Iowa Automobile Dealers Association (IADA) Foundation for Education recently awarded Southwestern Community College’s (SWCC’s) automotive programs a $4,741 grant to provide funds for the purchase of hybrid and electric vehicle testing equipment.
Since its inception, the IADA has awarded more than 90 grants totaling $420,000 to the 15 Iowa community college automotive programs. The purpose of the grants, according to the IADA website, is to support automotive education in Iowa.
