The SWCC science department recently purchased two lettuce grow stands for students to use in classes. The stands are indoor farm stands, which allow students to grow lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, herbs, flowers, onions, and other plants.
Students in chemistry, nutrition, and biology classes will utilize the Lettuce Grow stands in their classes and experiments.
