Sparty with a gaming remote

All SWCC students are invited to join the eSpartans Gaming Club! The club strives to create a community to foster leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking skills through gaming.

The members of the eSports Club come from all of the eSports ecosystem (i.e. players, spectators, fans, artists, and broadcasters,). The purpose of the club is to provide a sense of community for participants; engage students with a wide variety of skills and interests; create an accepting and inclusive environment; and provide opportunities for students to pursue their areas of interest. As eSpartans, members are required to participate in at least one eSports Club event per semester. Membership is free, but the group does a minimal amount of fundraising.

The advisor for the group is Lance Stonehocker, computer networking & information technology instructor. Interested students should reach out to Stonehocker to become members.
