SMV Chamber Singers
This ensemble studies and performs significant choral repertoire including larger works by major composers and contemporary compositions. Open to all students by audition and tours annually.
First Take
A select five- to seven-member vocal ensemble focusing primarily on harmonically complex vocal jazz literature. First Take performs throughout the United States and Canada and has shared the stage with groups such as M-Pact, The Four Freshmen, and The Real Group. First Take often serves on staff for SMV’s Vocal Jazz Camp.
Audio Radiance
A five- to seven-member vocal ensemble focusing on R&B/soul literature. Audio Radiance performs regional concerts, records, and tours each spring. Open to all students by audition.
Other Vocal Ensembles
Five- to seven-member ensembles selected by audition. These ensembles perform regularly.
