The Southwestern Community College Education Foundation will soon provide scholarship funding to students through the R & S Booth Family Endowment.  The endowment was established by Russ and Sharon Booth of Creston.

Beginning fall 2012, a scholarship will be awarded annually to a second-year SWCC student from Union County.  The Booths are excited about what these scholarships will mean to SWCC students.

“Russ and I feel it is important to provide this scholarship as an effort to enable more students to receive their education and contribute to our community,” Sharon commented.  “We are supporters of Southwestern and know this scholarship will help many students in the future.”
