For the third year in a row, Southwestern Community College's Student Senate has adopted a family for the holidays through the Rural Iowa Crisis Center. The group's donation of gifts and food were delivered to the Rural Iowa Crisis Center on Mon., December 17. The donation for the group's adopted family was worth more than $200.
The Rural Iowa Crisis Center provides safety and support services to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Adams, Ringgold, Taylor and Union counties in southwest Iowa.
