Two Southwestern Community College students, Danna Harlow of Corning and Marilyn Larson of Red Oak, have been named to the 2012 All-Iowa Academic Team. The two students were honored at the downtown Marriott in Des Moines March 7, 2012, at 6 p.m., during the All-Iowa Academic Team Recognition Ceremony. The event was hosted by the Iowa Valley Community College District.
Harlow is a December 2011 liberal arts graduate from Southwestern. She transferred to Northwest Missouri State University where she is working toward her bachelor’s degree.
Marilyn Larson is a sophomore at SWCC’s Red Oak Center. Larson, who is a business administration major, will graduate in July 2012.
