Southwestern Community College’s Community Awareness Day will be held on Thursday, September 17, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Student Center. Representatives from the following community agencies will be on-hand to provide students with information about their services:
- Crest Area for Life
- Crest Salt Company
- Great Western Bank
- Iowa State Savings Bank
- Iowa Works
- LC Clinic
- Neighbors Loving Neighbors Outreach
- PCSB Bank
- Planned Parenthood of the Heartland
- Southern Prairie YMCA
- TRIO, Student Support Services
Bags of information and coupons will be distributed to students during the event.
Students currently enrolled in The College Experience class may be able to use this as one of the required activities for the course. If you have questions regarding Community Awareness Day, please contact event organizer
