The SWCC Drama Club will be performing their faculty and student written plays on Fri., November 20, at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center theater.
This project, directed by Stephen Jefferies, is perfectly suited for the Thanksgiving season in that its essence is that of giving back to the community. The plays themselves, each approximately 10 minutes, are written by SWCC students and faculty. Perhaps the writers would never have seen their works performed without this opportunity. As such, this is a way for the SWCC Drama Club to give thanks to its talented members and patrons. Many of the actors in these short 10 minute plays are new to the theater - for some, this is their first performance!
Admittance to the show is a donation of a canned good/non-perishable food item or monetary donation. All proceeds will benefit local food pantries in the Creston area.
