Southwestern Community College (SWCC) participated in Osceola's 11th Annual Latino Festival held on the Clarke County Courthouse lawn yesterday, September 20, 2015, from 1-7 p.m.
Linda Buxton, SWCC ELL outreach specialist/instructor, hosted a SWCC display at the event, distributing information related to the college's English Language Learners (ELL) offerings. She was assisted by SWCC ELL instructors Maria Perez (pictured above with a potential student) and Barry Mateer.
The festival included food, fun, entertainment, and dance. Pictured below, some members of the Jovenes Ambasadores wait to perform their dance number, ballet folklorico.
