Southwestern Community College students Dawn Daily and Zack Peppmeier were honored as members of the 2015 All-Iowa Academic Team during a recognition ceremony held Wed., March 4, 2015, at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown in Des Moines.

Daily, a sophomore from Creston with a major in education/teaching, plans to transfer to Buena Vista University following graduation from Southwestern. She is currently employed full-time at BUNN-O-Matic in Creston.

Peppmeier, a sophomore from Shannon City with a major in agricultural sciences, plans to transfer to Iowa State University. He is on the President's List, maintains a 4.0 cumulative grade point average, and plans to graduate from Southwestern within one year of high school graduation.

Both students are members of Beta Eta Nu, SWCC's chapter of Phi Theta Kappa.
