Creston, IA—Dale Barnett, electrician at Southwestern Community College (SWCC), was honored on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at the college’s all-staff in-service, for 40 years of service to the institution.
Barnett has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University. He started at SWCC in a support staff position in the maintenance department, focusing on electrical duties, in 1978. In 2004, he was promoted to his electrical supervisor position.
Barnett lives in Orient with his wife, Deloris.
