The work of numerous Southwestern Community College (SWCC) students will be on display during Spring 2019 Poster Day on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., in the Instructional Center, room 180.
During Poster Day, students' research projects will be displayed and students will be available to answer questions. Students will be representing various academic areas including the following: animal biology; art appreciation; biology research projects; environmental issues; essentials of anatomy & physiology; introduction to horticulture; introductory biology; microbial diseases; nutrition; renewable energy; and new this semester, religion in the United States exploring noted individuals in the field such as Madalyn Murray O’Hare, Jim Jones, Malcolm X, Jimmy Carter, and more.
The event is free and the public is invited to attend. Those is attendance are encouraged to ask questions of the SWCC student researchers.
