The Iowa Association for College Admissions Counseling (IACAC) and Southwestern Community College (SWCC) are hosting a college fair on Thursday, Feb. 29 from 1:30–3 p.m., at the Creston Community High School Gymnasium, 601 West Townline Street, in Creston.
According to Sydney Smith, SWCC admissions representative and event coordinator, approximately 45 exhibitors—colleges and universities, vocational/technical schools, military branches, etc.—will be on-hand to speak to students about college and training opportunities. This is a great event for individuals to visit with admissions representatives prior to applying to colleges and universities.
Each year, the IACAC hosts more than 35 College Day/College Night programs throughout the state to provide a supportive environment for students to obtain information and appropriate counseling helpful in their college selection process.
