All SWCC students are invited to join the eSpartans Gaming Club! This new club will create a community that fosters leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking skills through gaming.
The members of the eSports Club will be made up of any of the eSports ecosystem (i.e. players, spectators, fans, artists, and broadcasters,). The purpose of the club will be to provide a sense of community for participants; engage students with a wide variety of skills and interests; create an accepting and inclusive environment; and provide opportunities for students to pursue their areas of interest. As eSpartans, members will be required to participate in at least one eSports Club event per semester. Membership is free, but the group will do a minimal amount of fundraising.
The advisor for the group will be Lance Stonehocker, computer networking & information technology instructor. Interested students should reach out to Stonehocker to become members.
