Beginning the week of May 18, 2026, Southwestern Community College’s main entrance (located west of the LED sign, pictured), turning north off of Townline St./Highway 25 on the south side of campus, will be closed for reconstruction. The intersection of Southwestern Boulevard and Spartan Drive, south of the flagpole loop adjacent to the Instructional Center, will also be closed.
During this construction, please plan to access campus on the east side, turning west from Green Valley Road onto either Southwestern Boulevard or Spartan Drive.
Sidewalk improvements throughout campus will also be a part of summer construction. Students, employees, and visitors should anticipate minor disruptions and proceed with caution, as barricades or signage will be in place during construction.
The project is scheduled to be completed on or before August 14, 2026.
