A record 70 contestants participated in SWCC’s 11th Annual Indoor Disc Golf Tournament, hosted by SWCC Disc Golf Club, and held at the SWCC Coliseum on Jan. 22, 2026.
The attendance far surpassed the previous record of 42 participants, set in January 2025. More than half of the competitors traveled for an hour or more, including from Des Moines; Madrid; Mason City; Marshalltown; Omaha, Nebraska; and Lincoln, Nebraska, to participate. The SWCC Disc Golf Club would like to thank the following for helping make this event a huge success: Southwestern Community College, Titan Disc Golf - Des Moines, Jones Soda, and several individuals who provided prizes.
The tournament included two rounds of 15 holes ranging from about 30 to 140 feet in length with several obstacles, hazards, and out-of-bounds areas. This is the fourth year the event has been held at the SWCC Coliseum, and the 11th time it has been held. The first tournament was held in February 2015.
