LOCATION - CRESTON, IOWA
Southwestern Community College is looking for a student-centered, energetic professional that is excited about the opportunity to develop and grow new and existing student services programming. The director of assessment and student success will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Assessment Center, serve as an academic advisor, and will coordinate the college’s new student orientation programs. The individual will also be responsible for assisting in the development of new student experiences that will enhance Southwestern’s campus and will contribute to increased recruitment, retention, and success rates.
As the director of assessment and student success, this role will include supervision of Assessment Center staff, confidential and secure test scheduling, test administration including serving as the HiSET Chief Examiner, and oversight of ACT testing for the college’s region.

Qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education or related field required, master’s preferred. Prior experience in an educational setting preferred. Additional training and experience in assessment and testing instruments will be expected upon employment.
