Individual will be responsible for ensuring educational program goals and compliance with IDOT, US Department of Transportation, and FMCSA standards. This role involves overseeing CDL, school bus, and motorcycle training programs, leading and maintaining curriculum development, scheduling classes, managing the budget, and evaluating instructors and student performance. Responsibilities also include recruiting and supervising instructors, maintaining program materials, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies with an opportunity to become a certified examiner. The individual will provide direct instruction in courses as needed.

Individual will be responsible for leading Southwestern Community College’s men's and women’s wrestling programs including the recruiting, coaching, and the overall direction of each program within the athletic department. The director’s primary role in the 2026-27 academic year will be recruiting to field a full team for the men’s and women’s programs for the following academic year. Roster numbers will be communicated through the athletic director and dean of student services. The director of wrestling programs will be responsible for directing a camp during the summer months and assisting with all Southwestern athletic fundraising activities.
