Southwestern Community College's department of athletics is seeking an academic success coach for all student-athletes. The success coach will play an integral role in providing academic counseling and support while monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes. The individual will work collaboratively across campus to develop and coordinate an academic assistance program designed to enable student-athletes to receive appropriate and timely academic assistance and to develop viable educational goals and academic strategies to achieve those goals. The success coach will work to ensure compliance with SWCC, ICCAC, and NJCAA rules and regulations. This is a one-year, renewable position funded through the AmeriCorps program. The success coach will receive a living allowance and an education award upon successful completion of their term of service.

The successful individual will be responsible for the overall supervision of the carpentry and building trades career academy program, which includes teaching a variety of courses and supervising the construction of a residential home. The teaching assignment will involve training students through classroom instruction, hands-on demonstration, and lab experiences. The successful candidate will also possess strong organizational and leadership skills, demonstrate cooperative teamwork ability, and be attentive to detail.

Southwestern Community College is actively seeking a full-time director of residential life. This position will play a pivotal role in providing strategic vision and direction for residential life. The director will work collaboratively across campus to coordinate, facilitate, and supervise all operations of the residential facilities. The individual will be responsible for hiring, training and supervising all housing coordinators and resident assistants. The director will spearhead residential life activities to create a sense of belonging and engagement amongst the residents. The director must be highly organized, skilled at conflict resolution, and an excellent communicator. This is a year-long position, and the individual will have the option to live on campus in the director of residential life apartment.

Individual will be responsible for leading Southwestern Community College’s men's and women’s wrestling programs including the recruiting, coaching, and the overall direction of each program within the athletic department. The director’s primary role in the 2026-27 academic year will be recruiting to field a full team for the men’s and women’s programs for the following academic year.
