Creston, IA—Southwestern Community College (SWCC) has announced Creston’s Randy Cook will be the college’s next chief financial officer (CFO), replacing Teresa Krejci, who recently relocated to Des Moines after serving as the college’s CFO since 1997.
Cook, a certified public accountant, received his bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1987 from Northwest Missouri State University. He has been employed as an audit manager by Draper, Snodgrass, Mikkelsen & Co., P.C. since June 1994. Prior to that, he was the senior accountant for Harold Voggesser, CPA. Cook is a 1982 graduate of Creston High School and a 1984 graduate of SWCC.


SWCC will host its annual Community Awareness Day on Wednesday, September 10, from 9-11 a.m. in the main hallway of the Instructional Center. A variety of community agencies will be on hand to provide information to SWCC students and staff about the services they provide.
