Southwestern’s Educational Talent Search (ETS) staff invites seniors (from all eight of the ETS high schools—Bedford, Clarke, Creston, East Union, Lenox, Orient-Macksburg, Murray, and Southwest Valley) and their parents to attend FAFSA Ready Iowa to complete financial aid paperwork on Wed., October 26, 2016, from 3-7 p.m., in the college’s Instructional Center, rooms 208 and 210.
During this event, students and parents will complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) together with assistance from college personnel. All students who plan to attend college following high school graduation are strongly encouraged to attend. Students and parents may drop in any time during the event hours, 3-7 p.m. Appointments will last approximately 30 minutes.
When headed to the event, please bring:
- Your completed 2015 taxes & W2s for the parents and students (if they filed).
- Students’ and parents’ social security numbers.
- Students’ and parents’ drivers licenses.
- Parents’ 2015 untaxed income records (social security, FIP, welfare, disability, or veterans’ benefits records).
- Parents’ 2015 business and investment mortgage information, business farm records, stock, bond, and other investment records. You do NOT need records for a farm you live on and operate, ONLY investment farms.
- Alien registration number or permanent residence card (if you are not a U.S. citizen).
