For the first time in its history, the Iowa Community College Online Consortium (ICCOC) will add a four-year university to its membership. Iowa Wesleyan University (IW) will become part of the ICCOC as a Tier 4 partner beginning in the summer of 2021.

Spartan women's basketball player going in for a lay-up

On Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, the women’s and men’s basketball teams are scheduled to play Iowa Central Community College at 1 p.m. (women) and 3 p.m. (men). These two games will be available on the live stream for free, thanks to the exclusive partnership between Iowa State Savings Bank and the Southwestern athletic department.

Creston—The Southwestern Community College (SWCC) board of trustees met electronically on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at 5:30 p.m., for their regular monthly board meeting. The meeting was held electronically due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Students who live in SWCC student housing may return to the residence halls on campus this Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, from 10 a.m.–6 p.m., or Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
