Southwestern Community College's main entrance, turning north off of Townline Street/Highway 25 and entering on the south side of campus, will be closed for reconstruction this summer. During the construction phase, plan to access campus on the east side turning west from Green Valley Road onto either Southwestern Boulevard or Spartan Drive.

Representatives from Northwest Bank in Creston came to SWCC yesterday to deliver a $250 check to be donated to the college’s first-ever American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Out of the Darkness Walk, held Thursday, April 23, 2026, on SWCC’s Creston campus.

Beginning the week of May 18, 2026, Southwestern Community College’s main entrance (located west of the LED sign, pictured), turning north off of Townline St./Highway 25 on the south side of campus, will be closed for reconstruction. The intersection of Southwestern Boulevard and Spartan Drive, south of the flagpole loop adjacent to the Instructional Center, will also be closed.
