Two Southwestern Community College (SWCC) students— Jacob Kinyon, second-year automotive repair technology student, of Corning, and Jamie Young, second-year auto collision repair/refinish student, of Humeston—recently benefitted from the generosity of a former SWCC student.
SWCC auto student writes article for Tomorrow's Tech

Southwestern Community College automotive repair technology student Dawn Roach (pictured above, at right) recently wrote an article that has been published in Tomorrow's Technician magazine and on tomorrowstechnician.com.
Roach and her SWCC automotive classmates and instructors traveled to Lincoln, NE, late last year to tour the Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed. The article talks about their trip to the museum, as well as about Roach's decision to enter the automotive field.

Eight cars raced this year in the automotive department's Valve Cover Car Races held during CTE Day on April 8, 2016, on Southwestern Community College's Creston campus.
