Automotive Students Place at Iowa Skills Contest

Southwestern Community College (SWCC) students Richard Welsch and Travis Stalder, both juniors from Nodaway Valley High School in Greenfield, placed eighth in the hands-on portion of the 2015 Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC)/Iowa Automobile Dealers Association (IADA) High School Automotive Skills Contest on Friday, December 11, 2015, at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny. This competition recognizes some of the best high school auto technicians in the state.
2015 Auto Open House Announced

The Southwestern Community College (SWCC) automotive repair technology and collision repair/refinish programs have announced the 2015 Automotive Open House will be held Fri., April 10, 2015, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the automotive area in the Instructional Center.

This competition recognizes some of the best high school auto technicians in the state.
Automotive Programs Hosting Open House

Southwestern Community College's automotive programs will be hosting the 2014 Automotive Open House for students considering a career in the automotive field this Friday, April 4, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the automotive department on the north side of the Instructional Center, on SWCC's Creston campus.
