The items may be viewed at the college maintenance shed (north side of campus) on Sept. 20, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bids can be submitted during viewing times. All winning bid items must be picked up on Sept. 26, 2025, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. or on Sept. 27, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

SWCC's Transportation Training Center recently unveiled its logo. The Transportation Training Center is located at the SWCC ag site and can train you for a career on wheels.

The SWCC science department recently purchased two lettuce grow stands for students to use in classes. The stands are indoor farm stands, which allow students to grow lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, herbs, flowers, onions, and other plants.

Did you know SWCC has more than 20 career-related programs to prepare you for the workforce, as well as a never-ending number of arts & sciences transfer plans/majors? SWCC Career Day, scheduled for Oct. 10, 2025, from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m., will give high school students opportunities to explore fields and learn about potential careers they could pursue.
