During the Southwestern Community College (SWCC) all-staff in-service, on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, 18 SWCC employees were honored for a combined 355 years of service to the college. Two of the honored employees, Ann Coulter and Kysa Gordon, combine for 85 years of service themselves!

The Southwestern Community College (SWCC) Disc Golf Club will host its 11th Annual Indoor Disc Golf Tournament on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, at 6 p.m., at the SWCC Coliseum (the old Walmart building) at 614 New York Ave in Creston, next to the Tractor Supply Co.
