The Southwestern Community College (SWCC) Drama Club will hold auditions for Neil Simon's "Rumors," the 2019 spring play, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Jan. 22 and Jan. 24 in the SWCC Performing Arts Center (PAC), located at Southern Prairie YMCA.

"Rumors" is a hilarious farce that is sure to keep everyone laughing. The play takes place at Sneden's Landing townhouse, where the deputy mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of farce as they attempt to figure out what happened to their friend. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into hilarity.

Auditions consist of cold readings from the script. Students, faculty and drama club alumni are encouraged to audition.

Rehearsals will be Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the PAC. Performances will be March 28-30.
