The Spartan Cafe recently announced a new food service director,
Prior to Southwestern, Dodge was the food service director at St. Malachy School in Creston for 10 years. Her career has also included time as a teacher assistant, as well as a deli/bakery manager for a local supermarket. She is a lifetime resident of this area.

Southwestern's Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) chapter is planning a Scholarship Day on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m, in the Instructional Center, room 210. The purpose of this event is to help and support SWCC PTK students as they work on their scholarship applications. Most PTK scholarship applications are due on Dec. 1.

A flu shot clinic for students is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., in the Instructional Center, room 180. Please bring your insurance card, as well as your driver's license or some form of ID.
