International Financial Information

As an international student, before attending Southwestern you must be prepared to pay all educational and living expenses. Careful planning will help make your college experience a successful one.  Work permits are only granted under the permission of the United States Office of Immigration. Federal and State financial assistance is not available for international students; however, some students may be eligible for scholarships through SWCC's music and athletic programs.

Class space will not be held if payments are not received in SWCC's business office by payment due dates. Online payments may be made with PayMyTuition. Failure to pay by the deadlines will result in the cancellation of your registration process and the Immigrations Office will be notified that you are no longer enrolled. Immigration and Nationalization Regulations require that international students on an F-1 visa must be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours or more).

International students must provide Proof of Financial Sponsorship during their attendance at Southwestern Community College. Proof of Sponsorship must include the following: signature of a sponsor and a signature and stamp from a bank official. If the bank will not stamp and sign a foreign language document, they must translate the financial certificate and have the translated version stamped and signed by the bank. If the bank regulations prohibit the bank from signing and stamping this form, then the college will accept a bank letter on official letterhead. The letter must be directly emailed or mailed from the bank to the SWCC admissions department. The letter sent by the bank must include a bank official’s signature and the amount of the sponsor’s available funds in USD. Email: This email address is being protected from spambots.
