I-20 Information
- Completed all admissions requirements
- Been accepted into the college or program of study
- Paid the required $150 processing fee. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
When all requirements are met, SWCC will issue a completed I-20 form. You will need to bring this form with you each time you enter and exit the United States. It is also very important that you have a current signature (less than one year old) before you leave the college. You should always check in with the International Student Advisor before leaving the country whether you are planning to return or not.
As an F-1 nonimmigrant student, you are required to pay the SEVIS I-901 fee. The fee is used to support the F, M, and J nonimmigrant reporting system authorized by Public Law 104-208, Subtitle D, Section 641.
Immigration documents, including the Form I-20, to students residing outside the U.S. are prepared only after you use eShipGlobal to request your immigration documents by express mail. Do not go through DHL or FedEx website directly. When using the eShipGlobal service for the first time, you will need to establish a username and password. Once you have an account, you may request your immigration documents be sent.
