Nursing Education - ADN & LPN Programs

Southwestern Community College's ADN and LPN programs are approved by the Iowa Board of Nursing, 400 S.W. 8th Street, Suite B, Des Moines, IA  50309, 515.281.3255, https://dial.iowa.gov/licenses/medical/nursing-professional-midwifery.

The Southwestern Community College practical/vocational nursing program holds pre-accreditation status from the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation, located at 2600 Virginia Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, 20037, 202.909.2487. Holding pre-accreditation status does not guarantee that initial accreditation by NLN CNEA will be received.

Electrical Technology

Get Involved

Student housing residents receive a free Southern Prairie Family Fitness Center membership. Off-campus students can purchase a student membership for only $30 per semester.
